Brandi passante gained fame after her appearance on the A&E show 'Storage wars', a reality TV show that also starred Jarrod Schulz. Both gained fame and recognition from the show. The show auctions off the contents of lockers whose rental isn't paid for in three months. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop located in Orange, California participated in the auction with hopes of being able to buy some storage units at low prices. They didn't realize that the show would turn them into reality TV celebrities! The show was a success since the couple, who had a very shrewd approach to their bids throughout the entire episode and became celebrities. Following appearing on the TV reality show, the couple were capable of increasing their business. The spin-off Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was created based on their appearance in Storage Wars.
