Kellie martin is an American TV, film and stage actress. Her most famous parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Kellie Martin is most well-known for her role as a protagonist of The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher started her career acting at the age of seven when her aunt who worked as a nanny to Michael Landon's kids helped Martin get a part in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". Following after her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting. She was able to land substantial roles in both cinema and television. Apart from being an actor, Martin is an accomplished photographer and dancer. She is a mother of two. she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and is constantly informing people about the illness since her sister died from it at the age of 19.
